Fuel Norms
The fuel norms management module allows you to set and manage vehicle fuel consumption norms for summer and winter seasons. These norms are used for fuel consumption analysis and report generation.
Page Access
To access the fuel norms module:
- Log in to the system
- Go to the Transport menu
- Select Fuel Norms
To view fuel norms, your account must have Transport View permission. Contact your administrator if you don't have access.
Statistics Cards
At the top of the page, you'll see a quick overview of fuel norms status:

Statistics cards allow you to quickly assess how many vehicles have fully configured fuel norms. Ideally, all active vehicles should have both norms.
Data Table
The main table displays all fuel norms with these columns:

Norm Values
Fuel norms are measured in liters per 100 kilometers (l/100km):
- Summer norm - applied during warm months when fuel is used more efficiently
- Winter norm - applied during cold months, typically 10-15% higher than summer
If a vehicle does not have a fuel norm set, fuel consumption reports may show inaccurate data or warnings.
Search and Filtering
Search
Use the search field to quickly find norms by:
- License plate (e.g.,
ABC123) - Brand (e.g.,
BMW) - Model (e.g.,
Passat)

Context Menu
Clicking the right mouse button on a norm row opens the context menu with these actions:
Single Row Selection

Multiple Row Selection
When selecting multiple rows (holding Ctrl or Shift while clicking rows), the context menu shows:

Adding a New Norm
To add a new fuel norm:
- Click the Add Fuel Norm button
- Fill in the information in the dialog:
Step 1: Vehicle Selection
Vehicle selection is required. Each fuel norm must be assigned to a specific vehicle.
- Select a vehicle from the list
- You can search by license plate, brand, or model
- Only active vehicles are shown
Step 2: Entering Fuel Norms

Typical fuel norm values:
- Passenger cars: 6-10 l/100km
- Minibuses: 8-12 l/100km
- Trucks: 20-35 l/100km
Step 3: Saving
Click the Add button
After successful addition, you'll see the message "Fuel norm saved successfully" and the norm will immediately appear in the list.
Editing a Norm
To edit an existing norm:
- Find the norm in the table
- Right-click on the norm row
- Select Edit
- In the editing dialog, you can change:

The vehicle cannot be changed. If you need to assign a norm to a different vehicle, create a new norm.
- Click Save
Activating and Deactivating Norms
The system allows you to temporarily deactivate fuel norms without removing them from the system.
Deactivation
Deactivation requires password confirmation for security reasons. A deactivated fuel norm will not be used in calculations.
- Right-click on the norm
- Select Deactivate
- In the dialog:
- Review the vehicle information
- Enter your password
- Click Deactivate
Activation
Deactivated norms can be reactivated:
- Right-click on an inactive norm
- Select Activate
- The norm will be activated without additional confirmation
Norm History
The system automatically records all fuel norm changes. To view history:
- Right-click on a norm
- Select History

Importing from Excel
The system allows bulk importing of fuel norms from an Excel file.
How to Import
- Click the More button (next to the Add button)
- Select Import from Excel
- Drag an Excel file to the designated area or click to select a file

The Excel file must have these columns:

Import Results
After importing, the system will show a summary:

Only vehicles that already exist in the system will be imported. Make sure all license plate numbers match those in the system.
Exporting to Excel
You can export fuel norms data to an Excel file.
How to Export
- Click the More button
- Select Export
- In the export dialog:
File Name
Enter the desired file name. The system will automatically add the current date and .xlsx extension.
Column Selection
Select which columns you want to export:

- Select All - marks all columns
- Deselect All - removes all column marks
- Click Export
The file will be automatically downloaded to your computer.
Deleting a Norm
Deleting a norm is irreversible. Before deleting, make sure this norm is truly no longer needed.
To delete a norm:
- Right-click on the norm
- Select Delete
- Confirm the action in the dialog
Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't I see some vehicles when adding a norm?
The vehicle list shows only active vehicles. If the required vehicle is not in the list:
- Check if it's active in the Vehicle list
- Check if it already has a fuel norm assigned (one vehicle can only have one norm)
Can I have different norms for the same vehicle?
No, one vehicle can only have one fuel norm. If you try to add a second norm for the same vehicle, the system will show an error message.
How do I set the correct fuel norms?
We recommend:
- Referencing manufacturer-specified norms
- Considering actual fuel consumption from previous periods
- Adding 10-15% to summer norm for winter norm
What does an empty norm value mean?
If a norm is empty (showing -), it means:
- The norm was not set
- This vehicle may not have fuel consumption calculations
How do I quickly update many norms at once?
Use the Import function:
- Export existing norms to Excel
- Update values in the Excel file
- Import the updated file back into the system
The system will automatically recognize and update existing norms.
